Sprint Pedal Base
Sprint Pedal Base
When operating Sprint Pedals near their maximum force capacity, they require a very sturdy mount for their platform. If you want to mount your pedals to a base plate first rather than mounting them individually, our Sprint Pedal Base Plate is your preferred product.
Since the Sprint Pedals can cope with high braking loads, a sturdy mount for your simulation rig is an absolute must. If you don't want to mount the pedals directly to your rig, but would like to attach them to a base plate first, we offer an optional rigid mounting solution. The Sprint Pedals Base Plate allows for flexible positioning of individual pedals and also comes with an adjustable heel plate.
With the brake on the Sprint Pedals capable of coping with a force of up to 65kg, standard pedal mounting plates on computers often show excessive flex under these loads. This base plate helps create a solid platform to mount the pedals to your rig.
The base plate assembly consists of several elements: a pedal plate to which the pedals are mounted, a height-adjustable heel plate, and two brackets that are used to secure the base plate to an underlying frame.
Mounting hardware is supplied to mount the pedals to the motherboard, as well as hardware to mount the motherboard to a 6mm thick underlay plate.
