The QR2 Pro Wheel-Side is the first quick release designed for real and virtual racing applications. It features fully CNC machined parts from billet aluminum, developed to meet the requirements of real-world motorsports.

The QR2 Pro Wheel-Side was designed to meet FIA standards for use in real-world motorsport. It was originally used for the 2022 BMW M4 GT3 race car and has since seen further improvements for sim racing and for use in future motorsport applications.
PERFECT FIT.
The conical shape is milled from a single block of aluminium using 5-axis CNC technology. Precision manufacturing tolerances result in a solid connection between the flywheel and the flywheel base. The self-aligning mechanism ensures that the electrical contacts are always protected.

Upgrade compatible FANATEC® steering wheels with an interchangeable quick release to QR2.
HOT-SWAP.
Spring-loaded locking pins combined with ultra-low friction PTFE coating allow for fast and secure wheel changes. Hot-swap between different wheel designs without needing to reset the simulator or your wheelbase.

Attaching your steering wheel has never been easier. Simply bring the wheel into the base and push it into place – no need to touch the quick release.
