The CONSPIT CHS is a full-metal dual-mode sim racing shifter that combines a 7+R H-pattern gearbox and sequential shifting in one compact unit. Designed for PC sim racers who want distinct mechanical feedback in both modes, it features adjustable 3 to 10 kg shift resistance, dedicated H-pattern and sequential mechanisms, Hall magnetic sensors, and configurable RGB feedback.

KEY BENEFITS

  • Switch between 7+R H-pattern and sequential shifting without changing shifters or reconfiguring in-game controls
  • Experience distinct mechanical feedback in each mode through dedicated H-pattern and sequential motion paths
  • Adjust shift resistance from 3 to 10 kg to create a lighter action or a heavier, more mechanical shift feel
  • Make faster, more defined sequential shifts with the SnapShift asymmetric short-throw mechanism
  • Maintain precise, consistent gear detection with contactless Hall magnetic sensors
  • Reduce unwanted vibration and mechanical noise with adjustable internal damping
  • Save cockpit mounting space with a compact 95 x 165 mm footprint
  • Position the sequential shifter higher and closer to hand with the included 50 mm extension link
  • Add configurable gear, RPM, and telemetry feedback with 9 integrated RGB LEDs
  • Rely on a mechanism validated through 1,000,000 mechanical action cycles

WHO IT’S FOR

The CONSPIT CHS is designed for intermediate to advanced PC sim racers who regularly drive multiple vehicle types and want both H-pattern and sequential shifting from one dedicated control. The 7+R layout suits road cars, historic race cars, classic touring cars, and other manual-transmission simulations, while the dedicated sequential mode supports rally, touring, GT, and other sequential-shift applications. Its wide resistance adjustment range also makes it well suited to drivers who prioritize strong mechanical feedback and cockpit realism.

KEY FEATURES

CONSPIT’s Dual-Trace Mechanical Architecture gives the H-pattern and sequential modes dedicated motion paths rather than using a restricted H-pattern mechanism for sequential operation. H-pattern mode provides a 38 mm, 12-degree throw with a dedicated lower lockout trigger for 7th gear and reverse. Sequential mode uses CONSPIT’s SnapShift asymmetric short-throw design, with a shorter forward downshift movement than the backward upshift movement for a more distinct sequential action.

Shift resistance is adjustable from 3 to 10 kg using a hex wrench, while the integrated damping system allows further tuning of the shifter’s response. A one-piece aluminum alloy load-bearing chassis supports the internal mechanism and mounting structure, with key working components manufactured from heat-treated 45# steel for wear resistance under repeated high-force shifting.

Nine integrated RGB LEDs can display gear position, RPM shift indicators, or preset status information through CONSPIT Link 2.0. SimHub support allows the LEDs to be mapped to compatible telemetry and status signals. A transparent side window provides a view of the internal mechanism, while an included dark-tinted window offers an alternative appearance.

The CONSPIT CHS dual-mode sim racing shifter connects directly to a PC over USB and allows both shifting modes to remain bound in-game simultaneously. A dedicated selector changes between H-pattern and sequential operation, while the included 50 mm extension link increases overall height from 255 mm to 305 mm for easier sequential use.

REAL-WORLD USE / EXPERIENCE

The CHS is built to make H-pattern and sequential driving feel mechanically different rather than treating sequential mode as a secondary function. In H-pattern mode, the 38 mm throw and adjustable resistance create a deliberate movement across the gate, while the dedicated lockout helps distinguish the outer 7th and reverse positions. Switch to sequential mode and the dedicated SnapShift path produces a shorter forward-and-back action, with the asymmetric throw giving downshifts and upshifts their own movement characteristics.

The 3 to 10 kg resistance range lets drivers tune the shifter around their preferred vehicle and driving style, from a lighter action for rapid shifts to substantially heavier mechanical engagement. Adjustable damping can further refine the response by controlling vibration and harshness. Because both modes can remain mapped simultaneously, moving from an H-pattern road car to a sequential race car requires a physical mode change at the shifter without rebinding controls.
